About Us
Welcome to Western Workout, where fitness meets fun under the glow of a disco ball dressed in cowboy boots! Founded in 2016 in sunny California, Western Workout was born from a unique twist of fate during a corporate event known as TechTwoStep. What was meant to be a light, fun team-building exercise turned into an unintended workout, leaving participants exclaiming they hadn't signed up to "sweat their makeup off or lose weight; they just came to be cute."
Tech Two Step: Founded in Silicon Valley in 2015, Tech Two Step is a unique country western team-building line dance experience. Deployed at corporate events, private functions, and notable tech companies like Go Daddy, Facebook, and Salesforce, as well as at venture firms and country clubs, it offers a lively and engaging way to build team spirit and camaraderie through independent dance.
Hearing these playful complaints, Liberty Madison saw an opportunity to merge her love for country music and dance into a form of exercise that was both enjoyable and effective. Fueled by the spirit of country stars like Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Gretchen Wilson, Morgan Wallen, and Dierks Bentley, Liberty crafted a dance fitness experience that was anything but ordinary. Unlike traditional dance fitness classes that didn’t resonate with her weekend vibes, Western Workout was designed to feel like a Friday night out with friends—lively, engaging, and authentically country.
Liberty began teaching Western Workout classes as a new fitness opportunity to transform lives and dance moves. It wasn't just about staying active; it was about creating a fun, community-driven environment where every stomp and slide on the dance floor meant improving health and having a blast.
Today, Western Workout isn’t just a fitness program—it’s a movement. It’s about embracing who you are, letting loose, and transforming your life one beat at a time. Join us at Western Workout, where every session is a celebration, every workout is a dance party, and everyone is welcome.
